Our Story

When I first came to Lincoln, I was planning on playing soccer, but that year they cut the girls team. Some of the guys convinced me to come at least scrimmage with the guys team, so I agreed. Josh actually ended up being the captain, and so at the first practice I met him. Immediately we had a great connection. We were finishing each other's sentences and had the same exact sense of humor. We both were dating other people at the time however, so we limited our time together to just soccer practices and games and just became friends over time. We both realized that the relationships we were currently in were not where God was wanting us, and so we moven on from those, and a while after that, God just kinda smacked us in the face with each other. We had become good friends, but had put up walls because we were seeing other people, but once those walls came down we realized that our friendship could be much more. So we started talking and praying about it a lot, and felt God calling us to pursue it, so we did :) A year and a half later, and we're getting married!

We will be getting married December 13, 2009 in the Chapel at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, IN

Our reception will be right after the ceremony, right next to the Chapel at the Ritz Charles.
